In welcoming Independence Day, the Central Jakarta Administration held a communal work in Karet Bivak Public Cemetery (TPU), Bendungan Hilir, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Friday (8/7).

Central Jakarta Deputy Mayor, Arifin asked the Infrastructures and Facilities Handling (PPSU) officers and janitors from Jakarta Cleanliness Department to clean up the cemetery.

" I hope all officers to work well and make the cemetery cleaner than before ," he told, when he led the communal work.

Based on beritajakarta.com observations, hundreds of PPSU officers from 7 urban villages, Cleanliness Sub-Department and Central Jakarta Parks and Cemetery Sub Department, deployed to clean up the Public Cemetery as wide as 16 hectares.
